From Irish Forests & Meadows to Your Jewellery Box
Hi, I'm Veronika — the maker behind Fairy Charms Resin Jewellery.
I work part time, so my mornings don't always look the same. But on every free day, you'll find me out the door with my four big dogs, walking the same paths I've come to love in all weathers.
Past the lake where little swans appear every year. Through the forest that turns completely blue with bluebells every May. Along hedgerows, old quarry paths, and meadows most people drive straight past.
My dogs and I also love hiking and camping around Ireland — there's always a new corner of the country to discover, and I rarely come home empty-handed. A wildflower from a coastal cliff. Moss from a mountain path. A sprig of something I've never used before.
That's where I collect.
Every flower is picked by hand — only what's growing in abundance, never more than needed. Back home, each one is dried slowly in silica powder for about ten days before it ever touches resin. There's no shortcut to that part. The waiting is what makes it last forever.
The finished piece holds a real Irish morning inside it. A real walk. A real place. No two pieces are ever quite the same.
I studied art and photography, and later earned a diploma in packaging and graphic design. But the landscape has been my best teacher. Ireland's native wildflowers have their own stories — folklore, ecology, quiet magic in places most people pass without a second glance. I want to change that, one piece at a time.

From Walk to Finished Piece
Every piece starts on a walk. Once the flowers are home, they spend about ten days drying in silica powder until they're perfectly preserved.
Then comes the resin — carefully mixed, poured, and set around each flower with tweezers and patience. It's slow, quiet work. That's what makes it special.
